The Online Booking system can be integrated into existing websites.
14th March 2022: iFrame is no longer supported by the European Banking Authority. Full details can be found here. |
Integrating Online Booking into a website
To enable your customers to book appointments via your website, you will need to,
- Place a link on the custom website, using the URL provided.
< a href= "{{URL}}&mode=externalLink" target= "_blank" >Book Now< a /> - Ensure both of these are added to the URL (as shown above)
- &mode=externalLink
- target="_blank"
If you have not already been provided with your Online Booking URL, please request your unique online booking URL from the Support team, email the team providing your practice name and ID. |
Use the URL provided by the support team for your practice, ensure the original link is used.
When the link is entered/pasted into a web browser the link/URL changes, do not copy this new link as this will create a loop, returning patients to the original URL.
Note: Any URLs used in this article are invalid for production use. |
Integrating Online Booking into your website can be done via a direct link (example, “CLICK HERE to go to our online Booking” (with image/etc))
The below example is a direct link using a "Click Here" link.
In this area the practice could provide a paragraph of information to the patient before they click into the link which navigates AWAY from the page.
Online Booking is looping back to the practice website
If your Online Booking link has been implemented on your practice website (or elsewhere also) but clicking it doesn’t direct you to the Online Booking page and instead goes back to the practice website the reason this would usually occur is if the link that has been added to your website isn’t quite correct (i.e ends with something like "perspectives-1" but it should end in your unique practice ID.
Please refer back to the original email sent to you with the Online Booking link and forward this onto whoever manages your website and reiterate it should be copied exactly as it is in the original email.
If you don’t have the email containing your Online Booking link anymore then please contact the Support team via Live Chat. |
