It is possible to have a demo database available for use in EXACT.

If you would like to have access to a demo database for any purpose, please contact the Support team who can assist in setting this up.

Logging into a demo database

1. Launch EXACT via the desktop icon on your computer
2. The default user credentials are Username: DEMO with no password
3. Below these is an area titled Pracitce, use the dropdown menu to change this to DEMO

No DEMO database available

If there is no option in the dropdown menu for DEMO, please contact the Support team who can assist in setting this up.

Error message when logging into DEMO database

If an error message appears when trying to log into your DEMO database, please contact the support team to investigate the issue.

Tips and Tricks

• It is strongly advised to never use a copy of your database (with your patient data, charting, appointment etc.) as this includes personal patient identifiable information.
  This is due to the use of this data causing data breaches as well as issues with a duplicate database connecting to EXACT services and sending/receiving communications and payments.
