Creating Consent Forms for Clinipad
When your practice has Clinipad's, you can use these to gain digitally signed patient consent forms.
To send forms for patients to sign, you need to create the forms.
Adding new consent forms
- Open the consents tab on any patient record.
- Select the configuration spanner in the lower right.
- Then click +1.
- Enter a name for the template and your content.
- Consent forms are text only and cannot contain images or tick boxes.
- Once you have saved your forms, click save.
- Your new form will now be available for sending to your patients using Clinipad.
Editing consent forms
Editing forms is similar to creating new forms, instead of clicking +1 select the form to edit then click the edit e|d button.
Tips and Tricks
- Consent forms are visible to all users with the consents form tab enabled, if you cannot access the tab, it's likely that you need to enable to tab.
- Create a consent form in a document software such as Microsoft Word and then copy and paste it into your consent form, this has the added benefit of the software's built-in spellchecker and grammar functionality.
