When your practice has Clinipad's, you can use these to gain digitally signed patient consent forms.

To gain patient signatures for their consent, you need to send forms to your Clinipad.

Sending consent forms

1. Open the consents tab on your chosen patient record.
2. Click sign consents.
   • Tick which consent forms you would like the patient to sign.
   • You can choose more than one form if required.
   • Select which Clinipad device you wish to send the forms to.
   • Click send.

Returning consent forms

After you have sent a form to your Clinipad and your patient has signed the form, you will need to return the consent to EXACT.

1. Click the arrow next to the Clinipad workspace icon at the top of your EXACT system.
2. The signed form will then be displayed in the consents tab for the relevant patient.
3. Highlight the form (it will be displayed in blue) by left-clicking on it.
4. Click the view button in the bottom right to open the consent form using your default program for PDF documents, this is set as per your computer configuration.
