Sending Signed Consent Forms to a Patient
When a patient has signed a consent form, they may wish to be provided with a copy of their completed form.
Emailing a signed consent form
EXACT 24.66 introduced the ability to email completed consent forms to patients.
- Open the patient record and navigate to the chart tab.
- Select the consents tab.
- Select the required consent form, the row will now be highlighted in blue.
- Click the email icon at the bottom of the consents tab.
- An email prompt will open for you to complete.
- The selected consent form will be attached to the email.
- Once you have composed your email, click send to send the email with form attached.
- A record of this will be recorded in the patient contacts tab for future reference.
Tips and Tricks
- To email a patient their consent form, an email address must be saved to the patient record.
