Email not Sending due to Patient Confidentiality
Patient confidentiality restrictions will stop you from sending patient information to recipients other than the patient, you can overcome this if you need to refer the patient or discuss with a professional.
Sending Confidential Patient Information via Email
To send patient information to someone other than the patient, you must add the recipient as a specialist in your system.
- Go to File - Specialist.
- Select +1.
- Enter the specialists' information.
- Ensure you tick the box Specialist.
- You can now send the information via email to the specialist.
💡Tip: When you are creating your email, tick the Email the selected Specialist option, the specialist will then be displayed in the specialist email address bar in your email draft.
