The ability to open hyperlinks in emails is restricted by a security setting to protect your system.

Hyperlink Security Setting

Due to vulnerabilities introduced by unwanted cyber attacks through hyperlinks in emails, the ability to click them is restricted to selected users.

⚠️Please Note: Hyperlinked .PNG files in emails may not function correctly, so where possible use .JPG files for graphical hyperlinks.

Enabling Hyperlink Access

1. Select Configure - Security Search.
2. Type Enable Hyperlinks then select the row.
3. In the Group rights for: option tick the box for any security group to be granted access to open hyperlinks in EXACT.
   💡Tip: Users will need to relaunch EXACT for the changes to take effect.
