Clinipad patient details
The patient details form allows patients to confirm and update their details if anything has changed compared those you have saved in EXACT.
Similar to other patient forms, EXACT displays if patient details needs to be signed and if this will be completed via Clinipad. The decision is based on the arrivals configuration, showing information as both an icon in the top right and in text on the arrivals window, see Setting Up Workflow Appointment Arrival Options, if you wish to check your configuration.
Please Note: Patient details will always be available to patients so long as any other form is due to be completed by a patient. No signature is required for patient details. |
New patient (first visit)
If a patient has,
- Had their first visit to your practice recorded as being within the last year
and - Their referral source on file is blank, Clinipad will include a referral question on the patient information screen 'How did you hear about the practice?'.
A dropdown list of configured active referral sources will be available for the patient to select from.
Note: Stating referral sources is not mandatory for the patient, so it is not problematic if a patient leaves this section blank. If the patient selects a referral source it will be added to their patient file and they will not be asked again. |
Clinipad will always display the patient's existing data as the default answer. This means that if a patient skips a question, their data is not changed.
Clinipad will always includes a blank option in the list so that the patient can deliberately not answer the question.
Clinipad patient data user disclaimer
Patient details include a disclaimer on the use of patient data which can be disabled. Navigate to Configure - Appointment Book - Arrival Options to configure this.
